hamster butt
jade: i had this dream, where i was walking down the street out of this summer camp, and it was automatically nighttime even though when i walked in a few minutes ago it was in the morning. it was a really cold night even though it was summer, and i got on this bus, and there weren’t any people on the bus. it drove me back to the summer camp, and the sign that usually says “valencia and blahblahblah” said something like, “please get off and rescue a hamster.” so on the sidewalk i found this baby hamster, and the hamster was freezing, and i was freezing too, and the only warm part on me was my butt. so i put the hamster in my underwear, and i got back on the bus, and a few minutes later the hamster started to wiggle.
me: in the front or in the back?
jade: in the back.
me: like in between your butt cheeks?
jade: (laughs) yes.
me: were you sitting down?
jade: no, i was just laying there.
me: was there anyone else on the bus?
jade: no. not even a driver.
(pause)
it was just driving itself.
